Systems Analyst - Fixed Term

Location: Dundee, Scotland, United Kingdom
As the Systems Analyst, you will play a key part in our on-going ongoing data privacy and security initiative. A member of the Applications Team, you will be responsible for building on the analysis work previously completed through the execution of discrete work packages required to successfully achieve the necessary remediation of business-critical applications.
 
What you’ll need to succeed
 
- You will have demonstrable Systems Analyst experience with technical background
- You will have demonstrable Process Analyst experience
- You will have played a key role in many project implementations and managed cross-functional relationships
- You will have a sound knowledge of business information systems
- You will elicit requirements and document in user story format
- You will have lead or played a key role in the completion of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
 
How will you do this?
 
- You will have the ability to comfortably and articulately communicate with relevant stakeholders across the organisation
- You will analyse requirements, feedback and data provided by the remediation sessions
- You will take responsibilities for your tasks ensuring that you are diligently following through on them until they are satisfactorily addressed

- You will look to collaborate effectively with your team and others across the organisation

- Ability to work with non-technical users to deliver solutions
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to examine, understand and evaluate current systems
- Excellent communications and presentation skills
- Collaborate with other IT teams and developers where relevant
- Ability to educate or train users in system usage
 
What you’re great at
 
- Demonstrable experience of systems analysis
- A strong familiarity with Microsoft Visio
  
Please note this role can be based in either Dundee or a combination of remote and office-based.
