Region Finance Manager

You would be working at our office in Aarhus as a part of a fresh and dynamic team in a company with a flat structure. 

What's the role? 

This is a unique opportunity to for an experienced finance professional to join us in Denmark. You’ll have a broad role being responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the finance function within Denmark are managed to a high standard as well as having an oversight role for the wider region, supporting your colleagues in Germany, the Netherlands, Poland and Switzerland.

This role both has hands-on responsibilities as well as taking a more strategic overview.


In this general finance role you will:
  • Be responsible for the management of all financial ledgers in Denmark ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations are completed and are compliant
  • Ensure all VAT and corporation tax returns are completed on time, in association with external accountants and Group tax
  • Liaise with external auditors/accountants as required to ensure statutory reporting/audit is completed in accordance with our timetable, both in Denmark and across your Region
  • Ensure that all statutory, tax and management reporting deadlines are met across your Region
  • Supporting the administration of the Danish payroll
  • Accounts Payable and bank reconciliation in Denmark
  • Be a trusted finance business partner in Denmark, supporting both Country Manager and sales team
  • Lead and manage a talented group of finance professionals ensuring they have the support and guidance required to execute their responsibilities
  • For your Region, review and approve month end trial balance within Group reporting deadlines, ensuring all transactions are included and reconciled.
  • Manage your working capital requirements ensuring that all entities are solvent while minimising our risk from foreign exchange movement
  • Proactively provide financial analysis that identifies business growth and profitability improvement opportunities.

What are we looking for?

A true Finance Generalist, you’ll have strong technical knowledge and use that to partner with the business.   You’ll be a strong communicator able to develop relationships and work cross functionally. 

You’ll be detail focused, self-motived, organised and able to complete multiple tasks on-time in a dynamic changing environment. 

You’ll be qualified by a finance-related education and at have experience from a similar job.
