Sales Manager North America

Your purpose in the role

The North America Sales Manager will lead double digit revenue growth through the effective management of an experienced direct sales teaming. 

You will be accountable for customer happiness and sales team engagement as well as responsible for:
-  Actively partnering on sales opportunities with the North American sales teams 
-  Supporting the selection and onboarding of additional sales resources
-  Accurate forecasting and planning
-  Supporting the deployment of our global sales strategy in North America 
-  Participating in the North American leadership team.

What we need you to bring

-  Knowledge of the North America L&D marketplace and experience of the L&D and/or consulting related industries
-  A demonstrated capability to contribute to organisational strategy and ability to engage peer groups, senior leaders across different business units and functions 
-  The ability to role-model a collaborative approach to achieving results through effective leadership and influencing of internal stakeholders
-  The ability to cultivate a culture of high performance focused on delivering a legendary customer experience 
-  Proficiency at mobilizing resources through efficient internal collaboration and conflict resolution 
-  A strong sales background and track record of delivering results and commercial judgement 
-  A global mindset and the ability to operate effectively and decisively within a matrix management set up 
-  Demonstrative experience and capability in both contributing to, developing and implementing strategy 
-  Strong operational management, analysis skills, and influencing and negotiation skills 

What you’ll do to succeed

-  Work closely with the Head of North America to communicate and execute a clear strategy across North America in order to achieve agreed revenue and profit targets for the region
-  Lead cohesive, motivated and high performing sales teams across North America and be a learning and development partner to our clients 
-  Working alongside the global sales teams, the Customer and Digital team and other functional departments to to optimize the deployment of the North American sales strategy
-  Promote best practices in utilizing sales automation and a technology stack
-  Deploy the Sales matrix model in this territory, acting as a champion and advocate to ensure the success of our sales channels 
-  Role model the culture and climate for North American teams 
-  Work closely with the global marketing team to build brand equity and awareness through North America 
-  Drive and engage the sales teams to achieve agreed revenue and profit targets for the regional sales channel in North America 
-  Identify, develop and nurture sales talent and sales career paths 
-  Be accountable for the budgeting and revenue forecasting process for NA sales, and aligning this to the overall sales budget, global strategy and appropriate business plans 
-  Forge strong partnerships across the Insights network and take a proactive approach to sharing best practices
