What’s the role?
You’ll be our digital marketing expert taking the lead to set the vision and strategy in the digital space in this brand-spanking new role as Digital Marketing Lead. You’ll be reporting to the Head of Marketing, working alongside our Brand Strategy & Planning Manager and Content Manager to define the annual marketing plan. It’s ready for you to step into to make it your own and use your digital expertise to lead the enhancement of Insights digital channels through continuous development and enhancement of our digital presence including user experience, SEO, CRM, social media and events.
Ideally, you’ll be based in the East Coast of Scotland so that you can travel to our Dundee on a weekly basis. We’re also interested in candidates who can work remotely across the UK, and we do offer flexible working patterns.
Day to day you’ll:
-Drive the brand through all communications and channels maximising reputation, recruitment and reach amongst our key audiences
-Take ownership for development and implementation of the digital marketing strategy
-Steering best practice in user experience and content through industry best practice and analytic data.
-Lead the demand generation, web, SEO, social media and events team to deliver industry leading digital experience and traffic and reputation enhancing content that meets the strategic objectives of Insights, supported by analytics.
-Drive innovation and encourage the wider Marketing team to seek out and identify new trends in digital, including technical enhancement, content creation and deployment.
-Support the improvement of the website, improving the usability, design, content and conversion
-Oversee digital campaign plans to ensure they are innovative, brand led and effective.
-Implement clear processes and ways of working to ensure we are scalable to manage the requirements of the business.
-Prepare and manage digital marketing budget
-Develop team members through reviews, objectives and identify training where required
What you’ll bring
-Experience in developing and implementing B2B digital marketing strategies on a global scale
-A depth knowledge of different digital marketing channels, online marketing tools and best practices
-Hands-on experience with SEO, Google Analytics and CRM software
-Comprehensive knowledge of the latest digital marketing tools, trends and techniques and ability to optimise their use across the digital marketing function
-Digital marketing analytics skills and ability to present insights to guide operational improvements and inform leadership decisions
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach and develop your team into becoming SMEs
-Creativity, innovation, flare and drive to focus on outcomes, not solutions whilst knowing how to ensure the portfolio is magical for customers in terms of marketing
