Sales Development Representative (Internal)

Your purpose in the role

Our fast growing global sales team is looking to expand with an exciting new sales demand strategy function that will see the introduction of Sales Development Representatives. SDRs will play a key role in helping drive our sales growth in North America and EMEA.

With a track record of success in a similar function, you will use your excellent communication skills to deliver highly effective sales outreach and lead qualification and move prospects through the sales funnel.

Working as part of a highly motivated team, you will take prospects supplied by marketing and use key sales data and customer research to engage with prospects one-to-one via email, phone, LinkedIn and introductory meetings in order to qualify leads and create sales pipeline for our sales account managers.

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive compensation package as well as a generous bonus structure for meeting lead and qualification goals.

What you’ll do to succeed

You will be the first point of contact for a diverse array of prospects from some of the largest and fastest growing organizations in the world.

Using your sharp communication skills, you will quickly develop rapport and gain an understanding of prospects’ business needs before expertly communicating Insights’ value proposition and inspiring with the possibilities available. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will form the first step of every new customer journey with Insights, helping create a world-class customer experience.

How will you do this?

  • Use calls, emails and social outreach to book introductory meetings so you can qualify prospects against a BANT (Budget, Authority, Need and Timescale) methodology.
  • Actively listen to a customer’s needs and pain points and be able to connect them with our product solutions.
  • Deliver relevant marketing content to prospects.
  • Generate sales pipeline by coordinating the seamless hand-off of qualified opportunities to sales account managers.
  • Ensure that all the information required for effective forecasting is available and the CRM is kept updated.
  • Collaborate with sales account managers to meet the company’s targets.
  • Use your knowledge to support the development of materials, such as videos, that will help book more meetings and demos.
  • Use our SDR platform to optimise the cadence of communications required to produce optimal results.
  • Use your experience to provide ongoing improvements to processes and procedures.
  • Build trusting relationships with key stakeholders.
